This is an incredible compilation of poems and stories and other lengthy writings along with art and photography and lastly interviews by numerous talents in the independent writing arena. The story that caught my attention was Yersinia-Z, by the mysterious Brian Bowyer. I never felt better about my penchant for Bourbon after reading this short story. Yersinia-Z is quite the enjoyable dark read for anyone who likes "outbreak flu epidemic" related entertainment. The work's of Brian Bowyer is known for his vast knowledge of many genres in the writing field and he is notorious for taking a simple idea and making it into this epic tale of survival, love, even lust, and addition with a mixture of slight gore and horror and Yersinia-Z is no exception. The story starts that the planet was leveled by the Yersinia-Z plague and in six weeks the world is deserted with only corpses showing the path of destruction. The scarce amount of people left on the planet are chronic alcoholics and Mr. Bowyer threw a cannibalistic serial killer in the mix. That alone should intrigue the fussiest of readers to check this compilation out. Yersinia-Z is filled with visual imagery of a sullen and decomposed view of Los Angeles, from the survivors point of view; skewed with whiskey, cigarettes and sex. *Reviewed by poet Ladyaslan*

This is a collection of prose, poetry, art and interviews that is on the cutting edge of current trends. The stories are experimental and old fashioned, but make you think after reading them. There's a lot of reading here for a great price.
